Wiseman Park's Dylan Skinner had a tough draw en route to the final defeating Towdadgi's Pete Bonsor, Warilla gun Matt Miles and Collies/Orb suprise packet Glen Beveridge in the semi-final.
Kiama's Russel Campbell survived tight encounters against Kembla Heights Don Barnes, zone senior singles champion Rob Fahey and Fairy Meadow's Mark Kesby. However, Woonona's Jim Tully was to strong for Campbell in the semi, winning through to the decider 31-13.
Champion of Champion pairs continues this weekend, with Geoff McIntyre and Danny Keenan flying the flag for Kiama against Fairy Meadow. Both singles and pairs finals will be played on September 30.
In club games, the final four were decided in the mixed pairs over the weekend. Cathy Dawson/Terry Boniface were too good for Joan Brownlie/Adam Rodgers 25-15. They will meet mother and son combo Jan and Geoff McIntyre, who defeated 2016 champions Gloria Hodgson/Mick Miller 20-14, in the semi-final.
Rhonda Munro/Neil Campbell are also through to the final four with a 22-13 win over Helen Joske and Mick Ganderton.
The ladies major/minor final was also decided last week with Cathy Dawson and Lee Cook crowned champions after a tight tussle with Mel Walker/Errolyn Egan.
