“We’re really excited to announce as part of Local Government Week, that Kiama Council has got an unveiling at The Pavilion of our recently renovated verandah,” event and conference marketing coordinator Hope Prosser said.
“It has transpired because of the spectacular view. What we’ve done is knocked down an existing brick verandah wall and replaced it with a glass balustrade that takes in the spectacular view over Surf Beach.”

Event and conference marketing coordinator Jackie Hall, said the renovation would benefit the community.
“We’re going to extend the already beautiful view we have at The Pavilion so the local community can come and experience the great venue we have here,” she said.
Mrs Hall has worked at The Pavilion since it opened almost a decade ago.
“It’s been a wonderful journey over the last 10 years,” she said.
“We run all sorts of events here, including community, commercial, concerts and dance concerts.
“It’s so wonderful to be able to host those events here and for the community to benefit from such a wonderful venue.”
