The draft Development Control Plan (DCP) for Jamberoo was one of the hot topics on the agenda, as well as planning, waste and pollution.
For council, we want to grow our understanding of what the community wants, likes and needs for the village of Jamberoo.
- Ed Paterson
“I’m here to talk about the draft Jamberoo DCP chapter that is out on exhibition now until the end of September,” Kiama Council strategic planner Ed Paterson said.
“We’re having community engagement workshops here at the Jamberoo School of Arts on September 5 and 7.
“The idea behind the workshops is to get people to have read the draft DCP chapter and come and tell us what they do like, what they don’t like, what they like about Jamberoo and what they would like to see maintained and preserved.
“For council, we want to grow our understanding of what the community wants, likes and needs for the village of Jamberoo.
