For several weeks, Hali’s display of viscosity printed collagraphs and silkscreens has turned the heads of library patrons.
The body of work, My Garden, explores the “force that through the green fuse drives the flower”.
The work focuses on botanic detail, small verdant miracles to be found under her feet in her own backyard, always there and easily overlooked.
You have the chance to hear Hali describe how she makes her art, what influences her and her journey as an artist.
This free talk will take place on 6pm on Thursday, April 20 at Kiama Library.
Free wine and cheese will be provided on the night. All ages welcome. Phone Kiama Library on 4233 1133 to reserve a seat.
