The third open air Foxground Concert for Timor, re-named ‘Foxfest’ will take place on Saturday, March 4.
It will help support the Bairo Pite Clinic in Dili, Timor-Leste.
The concert will take place at Joe Cato and wife Maura's property, Glengariff (located at 130 Hoddles Road).
The performance will be held in a natural amphitheatre adjacent to a rainforest and with ocean views.
The inaugural event in 2015 drew 250 people and raised more than $40,000.
Last year’s event attracted 250 people and raised $58,000.
Mr Cato, a civil engineer, has been involved with the cause for more than eight years.
Bairo Pite Clinic Australia is an Australian not-for-profit company which seeks to support and enhance Bairo Pite Clinic’s delivery of healthcare.
The registered charity will receive 100 per cent of surplus funds from the concert.
“What we raise looks after their expenses for a month,” Mr Cato said.
This year’s acts include James Blundell, Paul Greene and Lo Roberts. There will be guest speakers, auctions and raffle prizes. Cost is $100 per ticket, with children under-15 free. All drink (including wine and beer) is included in the ticket price. BYO picnic lunch.
