As part of its Spring Concert, the orchestra will perform a mixture of familiar pieces including overture to The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart and Tchaikovsky's waltz from Sleeping Beauty.
Cor anglais player Lori Lebow will shine as the soloist in Donzetti's Concertino for English Horn, while Emily Kastelein, Ian Butler and Pamela Harris will perform the violin, flute and piano solos respectively in Bach's Brandenberg Concerto No. 5.
Harris will also perform a solo in the Medley of Cole Porter as part of the orchestra's contemporary repertoire.
The South Coast Orchestra will also perform Illawarra composer Paul Halley's new composition, Summer.
It will be the last time to watch Chris Higgins at the helm before he moves on to other projects.
