About 2pm on Saturday (June  18) police were called to the intersection of Kinghorne and Ernest streets in Nowra after a vehicle collided with the gutter.  

The driver of the Ford Focus sedan returned a positive reading to a roadside breath test.

The 56-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station, where she underwent a breath analysis, which returned a reading of 0.195.

She was charged with high range drink driving and issued with a court attendance notice to appear before Nowra Local Court on July 25.
