Two weeks ago Norm bowled the winning bowl with the last bowl of the afternoon to achieve a nail biting victory.
Last week he steered Kiama to another great win over rivals Thirroul. This week he hung on by his finger nails to force a draw.
“There's nothing special about that”, remarked Norm after the win.
Norm, well known for his modest approach, always fails to tell people that he is actually 96 years of age.
Kiama did not fair so well in this week pennants with four of the five teams going down. Only the seven's prevailed with a very big win over Oak Flats.

B. Hair was too good fro W. Gorrisen 31-19 and C. Coleman got up over W. Corkin 31-11.
Wednesday's social bowls was won by B. Harris and K. Bratby with the runners-up B. Manson, B. Barabach and B. Hudson.
