It’s that time of the year again and preparations are well under way for Gerringong Golf Club’s major fundraising and charity golf day.

“The Green Day Out ” will be held on Friday, February 26.
The annual fundraiser is an important financially to The Gerringong Golf Club. The club is a voluntary run, not-for-profit organisation with only a small membership to fund course improvements, and relies heavily on fundraising and community support.
The event provides funds to assist in keeping Gerringong Golf Club one of the most beautiful courses on the coast and wholly owned by it’s proud members.
A portion of the money raised on the day will be donated to The Gerringong Committee of The Children’s Medical Research Institute.
Since 1959, the committee has raised close to $1.9 million to assist in medical research into many children’s diseases and cancers.
One accurate player will be rewarded for a hole in one on the 14th green of the course. Harrigan Ford Motor Group is supplying a brand-new car for the to the person who lands the lucky shot on the par three.
The popular golf day will include a three person Ambrose open to all players, with or without a handicap, at a cost of $95 per person, which includes breakfast, lunch, green fees and a commemorative hat. Cart Hire is an additional $20 per person.
Sponsorship is tax deductible and is available at a cost of $440, which includes team green fees, cart hire, lunch, breakfast, and commemorative hats.
Breakfast and registration will commence at 7am in preparation for an 8am start. A presentation and lunch will follow the game at Gerroa Boat Fisherman’s Club.
