Batemans Bay batted first on its home ground at Hanging Rock and was 3/43 after 10 overs.
Sam Lee (25) and Luke Strachan were the only home team batsmen to reach double figures and good bowling at the death kept Batemans Bay’s score to 7/81 from 20 overs.
In reply, most of Shoalhaven’s top order batsmen Graham Phillis (22 not out), Daniel Gleeson (14), Darren Jones (19) and Trevor Thomason (14 not out) led their team to victory and the visitors finished at 3/84 after 13 overs.
Wes Holmes, Marc Stiller and Strachan took a wicket each.
The second semi-final between the composite Cavaliers and Nowra began at 1.15pm and the final is scheduled for 4.45pm.
