The Friends of Blue Haven Aged Care Facility are looking for goods for their monster fete to be held at Kiama on Saturday, October 10.
They will pick up your unwanted books, nick nacks, paintings, pictures, toys, plants, furniture and any other bric-a-brac.
The fete, which takes place throughout the Blue Haven facility, has been running for more than 30 years.
Friends of Blue Haven Aged Care Facility secretary Col Rathbone said they hoped this year’s event would be “bigger and better than ever”.
“We did more than $15,000 last year, and we’re hoping to top that this year,” he said.
“We just spent $20,000 on new chairs for the dementia ward, so we’re in the red at the moment,” he laughed.
Phone Mr Rathbone on 0402 800 679 to arrange pick-up.
Organisers request no mattresses.
