The lineup boasts some of Australia’s leading acts including The Preatures, The Rubens and The Smith Street Band and festivities will now unfurl over the entire weekend from Friday (October 2) to Sunday (October 4) at the same picturesque Stuart Park, Wollongong.
The schedule for Friday and Saturday will remain the same and the extra Sunday will host The Delta Riggs, Gang of Youths, The Pinheads, The Preatures, The Rubens, Saskwatch and The Smith Street Band for a second performance.
Event promoter Ben Tillman said the aim of the Yours and Owls collaboration was to "transform Wollongong’s culture into one where live music and creative culture is part of the everyday landscape".
"To do this we recognise the need to make music and art accessible to people of all ages and if our long-term vision is to be realised, then we need to involve the youngest members of our community," he said.
"This is by far the biggest all ages event to happen in the Illawarra region for as long as we can remember and we are super excited to be able to put on this event and to see what inspiring ideas it provokes.... along with of course letting the kids get their fair and well deserved share of live music”.
The 2015 installment sees the festival delivering the biggest lineup ever on the South Coast region and includes some of the countries biggest bands alongside a hand-selected bill of local artists playing at the scenic Stuart Park, located right beside North Wollongong Beach.
