All three matches were extremely hard-fought, with no favours asked for or given by either side.
The all-female side took it to the Roller Hawks in the first game and trailed by just two points at quarter-time.
The Roller Hawks gradually began to flex their muscle in the second quarter, but even at half-time the margin was in single figures in favour of the home side.
After shooting at 56 per cent in the first half, the Gliders dropped off and the Roller Hawks stretched their lead to eventually win 94-52.
The return bout on Saturday was met with good crowd support for both teams. Although the 43-24 half-time score heavily favoured the Roller Hawks, it wasn't until the Roller Hawks kept the Gliders scoreless in the first nine minutes of the third quarter that Wollongong looked truly comfortable, eventually winning 99-42.
After two well-contested games, the third and final game on Sunday also did not disappoint.
The Roller Hawks' 71-51 victory was the narrowest margin of the weekend and will give the Gliders plenty of confidence as they focus on the AOZ qualifiers in Japan in October.
The Roller Hawks' attention now turns to the NWBL Finals which will be held in Kilsyth, Victoria from August 21-23.
