The Anzac Day Stableford was sponsored by the Burgin family. Daniel Hamilton had the best round, winning with 38 points after a countback with Michael Crandell.
Balls went to George Long (37), Matt Swain (35), Matthew Kelly (35) and Simon Urszulak (34 pts). Nearest to Pins; 2nd A. Foskitt, 8th M. Swain, 9th Drive & Pitch D. Hamilton, 14th A. Delaite, 18th T. McMahon, 12th Longest Drive (A) T. Murphy (B) S. Urszulak.
A group of four players managed to complete their round on Sunday, April 19, just before the deluge began and lasted for most of the week.
Ben Purcell was the best of the bunch, coming in with 31 points to displace Gary Lenson after a countback.
Purcell won three balls, with Tim Murphy winning a ball for the Nearest to Pin on the 2nd and Gary Lenson won a ball for the 8th.
Hopefully the weather will improve enough for the ladies to get some practice in for their club championships, which begin on Thursday, May 7.
