Entertainment commentator Peter Ford has sparked uproar online with a vindictive tweet about working mother Chrissie Swan.
The radio presenter and mother of three is tipped to take out the top prize in Channel Ten's I'm a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here. Shortly after watching the show, Ford sent out a tweet criticising her likely success.
Chrissie Swan looks set to win Celeb. Not sure what it says about society that we reward a mother who leaves a 1 year old baby to chase fame — Peter Ford (@mrpford)

Twitter exploded with angry comments as people protested Ford's comments.
"What a horrible time they (Swan's children) must be having bonding with their father. You should call DOCS," Chantelle Ellem said.
"She is earning a pay packet for her family, would you say the same for any working mum who sacrifices," Michaela Quinn said. "You're so bitter and sad. Nothing wrong with paying the bills."
"Do you get cranky when dads go overseas for work? No, then why when a mother does," a woman called Louise tweeted. "Does she leave her child in an airport locker? That would be bad parenting. But if it's home with family, what's the issue?
But Ford appeared unfazed by the onslaught, responding to many tweets and praising Swan's "greater resilience and stronger character" to be able to leave her one-year old at home.
If Swan wins, she has nominated emergency relief and development group CARE Australia to receive $100,000.
