The Gerringong community movie club has just made one if its regular donations to Kiama Library, so there's a good chance you'll find what you're looking for.
Pics and Flicks president Charles McCammon said the club began donating to the library in 2010. He estimated it had donated more than 100 movies.
"At that time we had a bit of money in the bank, so we thought buying the movies and donating them to the library would be a good way to spread it around."
Mr McCammon said monthly screenings were proving more popular than ever with people turned away from last month's screening of The Lunchbox.
Kiama Library outreach services library officer Michael Dalitz said the Gerringong Pics and Flicks sticker was seen as a stamp of approval by discerning borrowers.
"Donations form a key part of our Kiama Library collection," he said.
"The Gerringong Pics and Flicks donations are very well received and help to sate the voracious appetite for films."
The latest are: Nebraska, The Great Beauty, Still Life, Stories We Tell, Blancanieves, The Gilded Cage and Flickerfest 20th Anniversary DVD.
Top ten picks from president of the flicks
PICS and Flicks president Charles McCammon's top ten flicks from 15 years of Pics and Flicks, in no particular order (with a short synopsis):
Nebraska - a black and white road trip movie that is both amusing and poignant with its look at an ageing Midwest USA family.
The Intouchables - a beautiful movie based on the true story of a French quadriplegic millionaire and his untrained foreign helper.
As It Is In Heaven - the story of a former Swedish concert conductor who leads the choir in his former home town.
The Lives Of Others - the impact on a couple due to the surveillance of the Stasi in former East Germany.
Moliere - A sumptuous visual feast based on the life of the famous French playwright
Departures - a Japanese film where a man returns to pay ritual to his departed father.
The Secrets In Their Eyes - an Argentinian film in which a policeman seeks revenge on an acquitted criminal.
Searching For Sugarman - a documentary about the blues singer/songwriter Rodriguez (an Oscar I think for doco).
Ten Canoes - Rolf de Herr's second instalment in his Aboriginal trilogy of life pre-white settlement.
