THE oft-photographed Kiama lighthouse was snapped looking a little different on Wednesday night.
With help from the NRMA, the lighthouse was illuminated orange in support of NSW SES volunteers as part of Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW Day) celebrations.
WOW Day is held in November each year to recognise the efforts of NSW SES volunteers who help their communities in times of storms, floods and other emergencies.
Members of the Kiama unit enjoyed a barbecue on site, chatted with the public and had giveaways for the kids.
The Wollongong unit illuminated the Wollongong lighthouse and Shellharbour had a static information display at Stockland Shellharbour.
