CATHOLIC primary schools from across the state descended on the Illawarra over the weekend for the New South Wales Catholic Primary Schools Basketball Challenge.

Students from year three through to year six took part in the competition, with senior and junior boys and girls games being held at the Kiama Leisure Centre, Shellharbour Stadium, the Illawarra Sports High School and Berkley Sports Stadium.
