EVERY year each club in Group 7 nominates two players from their u16s side for the Kevin Walsh Scholarship award.
The Bulldogs club has been represented by some worthy players who have been fortunate to have won this award.
This year was no different, with Colton Seaton-Anderson and Hamish Shorland being joint recipients of this award, which was presented to them at the Group 7 seniors presentation.
GREAT things have happened around the grounds and there a bigger plans for next year.
This is because of people like club president Josh Wooden, who leads a dedicated group of people who volunteer a great deal of their time, including family time, and work tirelessly not only during the footy season but also in the off season to ensure the club remains strong and successful for the children.
The club’s AGM will be held this Thursday at the Marlin Hotel from 7pm. New faces and fresh ideas are always welcome, so please consider becoming a member – it is a load fun and very rewarding.
If you would like to be part of this great club and would like further details on how to become a member, please contact Kevin Whitford on 4455 5925 prior to the meeting.
A HUGE congratulations to Bob Tate who was the lucky winner of the box trailer full of goodies.
He will be presented his prize this week by Paul Meredith, who has done a fantastic job in organising this fundraiser.
The club would like to thank all the wonderful businesses that donated prizes and supported the club to make it a success.
