The Sydney-based trio consists of Daniel Herscovitch (piano), Elizabeth Neville (cello) and Fiona Ziegler (violin) and will perform this weekend.
This experienced Australian outfit will play a program featuring Beethoven, Saint-Saens, Sculthorpe and Schubert.
Herscovitch is senior lecturer in piano at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
He has travelled extensively throughout Europe, US and Australia, both as a performer with top international orchestras and as a soloist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. He has recently returned from Indonesia.
Neville was born in England and began playing the cello at the age of eight.
She has worked with many of Britain's top orchestras, and was a member of the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
Neville moved to Australia in 2001 after participating in a job swap with the Sydney Symphony.
Ziegler attended the Sydney Conservatorium High School, where she studied violin, progressing through membership of the Australian Youth Orchestra to a successful career with the Sydney Symphony, where she became assistant concertmaster in 1995.
The concert is at the Gerringong Town Hall on September 21 at 2pm. Tickets are $15 at the door; free for members, children and students.
