ROUND 14 saw the last round of competition for our Mini League and they will wrap up their final game of the season with a gala day this Sunday at various venues. Mammas Italian Kitchen under 9s finished off in style defeating St Georges Basin 24-16.

Ryan Jarman was outstanding powering his way to the try line on three occasions scoring a hat trick of tries and kicked a goal. Kyeden Booth played a great game powering his way to the try line scoring a double and Riley Sims converted a goal.
Bomaderry Hotel under 11s traveled to Batemans Bay and played an awesome game considering they played a player short for the entire game to come away with a 24-16 win was a credit to all players.
Brody Davoodi continued his great form scoring two tries. Jaiden Moore was too strong powering his way to the try line to score a try then went onto convert the try. Adam Kirwin maneuvered his way around the defence to race away and score out wide, then converted the try .Dylan Flentjar- Clarke and Alden Johnston kicked a goal during the game.
ANJ Fabrications under 7 Blue team were narrowly beaten by St Georges Basin 26-24, speedster Kynan Miller scored three superb tries and made some great tackles. Brayden Whitfield was too strong over powering the defense to score two great tries and Tigh Fordham charged his way down the sideline to run away and score a try out wide.
Bomaderry Bowling club under 12s were narrowly beaten by Stingrays 20-18. The team started slowly finding themselves down 12-nil, but fought back when Billy Usher over powered the defence near the try line to score and Jake Locke converted the try. Jake soon put the Swamp Rats in front after he maneuvered his way around the defence then outsmarted them to runaway and score a fabulous try then Ben Lymbery kicked the goal.
Joel Horgan increased the lead to 18-10 after he found a gap in the defence to runaway and score near the post then Corey McConville converted the try. Right on the full time bell stingrays scored in the last play to clinch the win.
Nowra Cranes under 8s played a good game but were defeated by St Georges Basin 20-12. Jeb Brownhill scored his first try for the Swamp Rats when he worked his way around the opposition finding the gaps then sprinted towards the try line to score under the post.
Bailey Gossage took charge after working his way around the defence he ran through the gap to score a try and Kyle Munro made a break in play to charge down the sideline and scored a great run away try.
ANJ Fabrications under 10s tried hard in their game against Kiama but were defeated 36-4. Well done to Kurt Wisniewski who scored a fabulous runaway try for the Swamp Rats.
IGA Bomaderry under 7 Gold team were defeated by St Georges Basin 34-4. well done to Toby Dyball who scored the only try for the Swamp Rats.
IGA North Bomaderry were defeated by Collegians 64-nil but a special mention must go out to the players who made the effort to travel and for playing the entire game being short a few players.
Cookes Truck and Tyre Center under 16s traveled to Port Kembla but were defeated 32-10. Jared Cumming and Keeden Johnson were the try scorers for the Swamp Rats and Tristan Wisniewski kicked a goal during the game.
Shoalhaven Embroidery under 15s started their match off in fine style taking a 4-nil lead over Collegians at half time after Tyson Simpson maneuvered his way around the defence and charge through the gap to score a try out wide.
In the second half Jordan Dickie received a cut out pass to run through and score out wide but collegians hit back running out eventual winners 18-8. This was a great game of footy to watch right from kick off until full time well done to the entire team.
Manildra group under 14s were at home to Thirroul but were defeated 42-14. well done to Cohan Simpson,Ryan Pye and Jackson Foster for scoring a superb try each and Craig Davis who kicked a goal during the game.
Thursday nights come down to the Bomaderry Hotel the Family Hotel and support the Swamp Rats tickets go on sale starting from 5pm, drawn at 7pm. All children are welcome with cheap kids meals in the bistro and they can have fun with a game of pool.
