Barrack heights woman mugged
Police are hunting two youths after a Barrack Heights woman was mugged on Wednesday.
The woman was walking through a park reserve between Shellharbour and Barrack Heights about 5.30pm when two teenagers demanded her phone and wallet, which she gave them, and they then ran off.
Both offenders are described as Caucasian, with one aged approximately 17 and wearing a blue and white hooded jumper with white track pants, while the other is believed to be aged about 14.
Shots fired in Warilla home invasion
Police are investigating reports of shots fired in a home invasion in Warilla in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
About 12.30am on May 7, a man wearing a balaclava allegedly entered a unit on Peterborough Avenue and discharged a firearm. The round hit a freezer located in the kitchen.
Officers have been told the man then left the unit and was last seen running north towards a vehicle on View Street.
The four occupants of the home were not injured during the incident.
Police from Lake Illawarra attended the unit and established a crime scene.
A Police Dog tracked the man to View Street, where it's believe he entered a car that drove away.
Sergeant Mark Scott from Lake Illawarra Police said based on the information available, it did not appear to be a targeted attack.
Descriptions of the man and vehicle are currently unavailable.

Rocks thrown at school
Some time between Friday, May 2 and Monday, May 5 an unknown number people threw rocks smashing five windows at Oak Flats High School. There is no CCTV footage of the incident.
Unregistered guns
A 33 year-old Jamberoo man has been issued a court attendance notice for Kiama Court after being found to be in possession of three unregistered firearms.
Second Bowling Club robbery arrest
Police have charged a second man after an alleged aggravated armed robbery in Kiama last month.
Trent Arndell, 21 has been charged with four offences in relation to the incident at Kiama Bowling Club on Saturday, April 26.
It’s alleged that he was armed with a pistol which he fired ‘with reckless disregard for safety’ and that he robbed the club of $16,000.
He is also facing two other charges in relation to an aggravated home invasion in Berkeley in October 23 The case will return to Port Kembla Local Court on July 9.
Alleged assault at Oak Flats hotel.
A 44-year-Oak Flats man will appear in Albion Park Court on August 6, charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm after an incident at a hotel on Lake Entrance Rd, Oak Flats.
Police allege an altercation occurred when a man outside having a cigarette had words with a second man who had come outside to urinate, about his actions.
The second man then allegedly punched the victim in the face, causing lacerations above the eyebrow.
