AT A windy Unanderra Oval on Saturday, Oak Flats Falcons downed Wests Illawarra 2-0 in the latest round of the Football South Coast District League Competition.

The goals were scored in the first half by Chris Murdzevski, while there were some close shaves later in the game.
The Falcons drafted two youth grade players, Alex Bausch and Sam Markoulis, into first grade and both did well.
Dynamic defender Liam Gallo, Brendon Burke, Beau Armstrong and 'keeper Michael Bingham all did the team proud.
Youth grade was unlucky to lose 2-1 in the final minute despite leading 1-0 for most of the match. Coach Klaus Wunsch was full of praise for his young charges against an unbeaten opposition.
Overall the team put in a good performance, leading well into the second half. On standby were Damon Gaudiosi, Nathan McGovern, Filip Velev and Liam Marsh.
The Falcons scored through Leyn Simon in the first half.
This Saturday, the Falcons host competition leaders Corrimal Rangers.
On Sunday, the Falcons are at home at Keith Bond Oval against Coniston Lions in a double header.
The second washed out game against Berkeley is scheduled for Monday, June 9 at Berkeley Sports Field.
