Other highlights of a big night at a packed Jamberoo Recreation Club Loft last Friday for the club's annual presentation night were John Waugh, who was awarded life membership, and club secretary Connie Dallas taking out the Bruce Noble Trophy for Clubperson of the Year.

Barnard also cleaned up in the club awards, edging out the three respective men's grade players of the year - James Asquith (first grade), Adam Brodie (reserve grade) and Ben Constable (third grade) - to take out the Kevin Walsh Trophy as the overall Player of the Year.

After a breakthrough year for the club, where all four teams made the semi-finals of their competitions, club president Trevor Dallas acknowledged the efforts of the committee, support staff, players and sponsors in the role they played during the season.

Awards winners were: first grade, Josh Saunders, Luke Gilmore, Nathan Soper, Asquith and Gavin Jarrett; reserve grade, Brodie, John Good, Brad Gray and Daniel Wright; third grade, Cody McParland, Jesse Davey, Kyle Stokes, Constable and Cody Bryant-Smith; and women's tag, Alicia Doolan, Therese Beazley, Jen Priest, Barnard, Jemma Redman and Abby McParland. Reserve grade winger Scott Adams also won the South Coast Rugby League's top point-scorer.
