Police inquiries into the accident are continuing.

It happened at about 7.30pm, when a Mitsubishi van was travelling north on the Princes Highway near the Kiama Bends.

Initial inquiries show the vehicle hit a guard rail and rolled.

The female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was assessed at the scene by paramedics.

She was taken to Shellharbour Hospital for further medical checks in relation to suspected neck injuries.
