To help meet increased demand for testing in the Shoalhaven, the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) has extended the hours of the pop-up clinic it has established in St Georges Basin.

The clinic is co-located at St Georges Basin Community Health Centre at 21 Mereton St and will operate from 8am to 4pm daily from Saturday 15 and will continue operating while there is demand.

The Local Health District also has free community COVID-19 Assessment Clinics located at Wollongong, Shellharbour, Shoalhaven and Milton Ulladulla Hospitals and a drive-through clinic at Albion Park.

Testing is also available at the Ulladulla and Sanctuary Point Respiratory Clinic where appointments are required.

People can also visit their local GP.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19:

  • If you are unwell, stay in, get tested and isolate.
  • Wash your hands regularly. Take hand sanitiser with you when you go out.
  • Keep your distance. Leave 1.5 metres between yourself and others.
  • Wear a mask in situations where you cannot physically distance.
