Kiama Local Strategic Planning Statement: The Kiama Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS), our community's vision for land use in our area over the next 20 years, has been finalised. The LSPS sets out a 20-year vision for land use in the local area, as well as: . the special characteristics which contribute to local identity; . shared community values to be maintained and enhanced; . how growth and change will be managed into the future. The LSPS now becomes our chief planning document, setting out our planning priorities for the next 20 years and the actions needed to achieve those priorities.

All these facilities have been registered as COVID Safe businesses with the NSW Government. COVID-19 Safety Plans We urge local cafes and restaurants to put together a COVID-19 safety plan. These plans are mandatory for food and drink premises under current NSW Public Health Orders. Council is responsible for reviewing the safety plans of food and drink businesses in our municipality. We're asking businesses to email their safety plans to: council@kiama.nsw.gov.au NSW Police are conducting checks on local operators to make sure they have a safety plan in place. Barroul House Cafe The original historic homestead on the site of the old Kiama Hospital is a charming cafe at the centre of Blue Haven Bonaira.
