On Wednesday, May 21, volunteers were called to help after a man fell off his roof in the Kiama area.
"Late [in the] afternoon volunteers were called to assist NSW Ambulance after a man fell from his roof while undertaking maintenance," a spokesperson said.
"After paramedics treated the man, NSW SES volunteers secured him into a stretcher and carried him down a steep and rocky driveway to a waiting ambulance."
It is understood the man is in a stable condition.
SES volunteers have urged residents to take appropriate precuations when conducting home maintenance.
