'Frankie Pants & Mr Fox' is the tale of lazy neighbourhood feline, Frankie.
At the stroke of midnight he transforms into Frankie Pants, a modern-day hero who sets out to save the neighbourhood from the dastardly devious Mr Fox.
"The idea for Frankie Pants came about when our beloved family cat, Frankie, sadly passed away," Ms Lear said.
"I wanted to find a way to keep his colourful character alive in a fun, action-led book with a positive message."
The book is illustrated by Katya Swan, a children's illustrator and graphic designer currently living in Dublin, Ireland.
