The blaze, just south of Berry, started around 1:30pm on Monday, December 30 and has now been contained.
While the waterbombers have left, fire crews remain on the scene blacking out and monitoring the area.
RFS incident controller Superintendent Mark Williams said the fire is believed to be under control and the cause would be investigated.
"It was around some hay bales but I'm not sure about the exact cause at this point in time," Supt Williams said.
"It was a concern for a short amount of time but once we got crews and aviation assets on scene they got on top of it very quickly.
"It was very quickly responded to."
Supt Williams said across the fireground conditions had been mostly calm.
"At this point of time we haven't had any significant wind down on the fireground, currently we're continuing to do some consolidation works on the backburning operations that we've had in the last couple of days.
"We'll continue that at this point in time until the weather deteriorated which is expected which is expected to happen this afternoon or overnight and then we'll go into property protection mode if the fire does make any breaches of any containment."
