Ms Joyce represented NSW in the National Australian Training Awards and came runner up in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of the Year Award, for her Certificate II in Business studies.
The award recognised her effort balancing an apprenticeship with her school studies, sport, community and family commitments.
"With a passion for customer service Jemasin demonstrates outstanding skills in communication, teamwork, numeracy, problem solving and cash handling in her job with the ANZ Bank in Dapto," it said.
"Jemasin is active in her community and has organised cultural events such as NAIDOC week celebrations, AIME events, and has represented Indigenous Australia in the Oceania Cup Tag Football tournament, as well as state school athletics and zone cross-country competitions."
