Opera in the Valley hits high note

Jamberoo CWA president Cathy Delhaas says Saturday night's Opera in the Valley event was "fantastic".

"Comments such as 'best ever' and 'sensational' and 'better than big concerts in Sydney' were made," she said.

She praised the efforts of performers, and the organisers who worked so hard to make the event a success.

"We had a full house and Jamberoo CWA is so proud to be able to present such an event," she said.

"Susie Bishop played her violin during her duet with Alison Robertson which bought the house down. The special combination of tenor Lorenzo Rositano and baritone Chris Harris was superb."
