Elouera Boardriders have claimed their second nudie Australian Boardriders Battle event in as many years by dominating the competition in punchy offshore conditions at Jones Beach, Kiama on Saturday.
Bondi, Culburra Beach and Scarborough finished second, third and fourth band were unable to chase down Elouera.
Anchored by former World Surf League Championship Tour Rookie Of The Year Connor O'Leary the Elouera team of Shane Campbell, Jarvis Earle, Rachel McKendrick, O'Leary and Luke Weinert finished the final with solid 38.25 total.
"To win this event twice in two years is a dream come true," O'Leary said.
"The whole team put on some awesome surfing, especially our grommet Jarvis who posted a 9.07 in the final which was the highest of anyone in the team.
"I can't wait to get to Newcastle next year for the National Final and compete against clubs from all around the country."
Elouera, Bondi and Culburra Beach all qualify for the national final in 2020.
Now in its seventh season, the nudie Australian Boardriders Battle is Australia's biggest grassroots boardriders event.
It involves more than 60 of Australia's best boardrider clubs and $110,000 in prize money.
The series is officially sanctioned by the World Surf League which allows Australian WSL World Tour surfers the opportunity to represent their local boardriders club at respective state qualifying events and the national final.
