The event will feature 14 of the best clubs from south of the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the Victorian border as they endeavor to qualify for the National Final at Newcastle.
Jones Beach, Werri Beach, Dalmeny, La Perouse, Woonoona, Bondi, Scarborough, Maroubra, Elouera, Culburra, Ulladulla, Sandon Point, Cronulla Sharks, and Port Kembla will all compete in the one-day event on November 26.
After playing a major role in his local club Elouera's victory last year, former World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT) Rookie of the Year Connor O'Leary hopes to put on a show.
"With all the international travel I do for competition it's awesome to come home and be able to represent my club and only have to drive an hour down the road," he said.
"The Boardriders Battle events always bring out the best in everyone's surfing and I always get a rush whenever I'm surfing in them."
The main location for the nudie Australian Boardriders Battle is Bombo Beach or Jones Beach with backup locations of Werri and Kiama Surf Beach.
