The programme for the "delightful concert" consists of Mozart's string quartet no 15, and Dvorak's string quartet no 12 ('American') with Alice Chance's quirky but very beautiful 'Sundried Quartet'.
Members of the Acacia quartet are Lisa Stewart and Myee Clohessy (violin), Stefan Duwe (viola) and Anna Martin-Scrase (cello).
Acacia are passionate about supporting Australian composers, working with young musicians, and sharing their love of music with audiences of all ages.
Their performances feature regularly on radio stations around the world.
Acacia's engagements in Australia include the Sydney Opera House, City Recital Hall Sydney, Melbourne Recital Hall, as well as extensive touring through regional NSW and Victoria.
The Quartet had their international debut in June 2016 Vancouver, Canada and were invited the following year to give their European debut in Berlin and record a CD.
Tickets are on sale at the concert from 1.30pm at $20 for members and $30 for visitors, students and children are free. Afternoon tea is available.
