THE Jamberoo Superoos have avenged their loss in the 2018 Group Seven women league tag division one grand final, by defeating the Kiama Knights 10-nil at the Collegians Sporting Complex on Sunday.

It took only five minutes for the 2016 premiers to open the match's scoring
Following a dropped ball by Kiama's Sarah Benn, which presented Jamberoo strong field position, Kaela Thomas split the line and hit a charging Chelsea Tout with a pass to score.
Emily Burke converted to the right of the uprights and it was 6-nil after five minutes.
After a sensational chip and chase by Georgia Thomas, forcing a Kiama drop-out, the Roos had numerous chances to extend their lead but the resolute Knights defence held firm.
Kiama's best chance of the first half fell to try-scoring machine Alana Glasson, who broke the line and toed the ball through, only for the courageous Carly Ryan, in her return match from a broken wrist, to dive on the ball and prevent the try - ensuring the Roos held a 6-nil lead at the break.
The first real chance of the second stanza fell to Kiama with 17 minutes to play, following a dropped bomb by Roos' Brooke Smith, but the determined Jamberoo defence held firm and kept the Knights at bay.
Jamberoo were rewarded for their committed defence by scoring their second try of the day with nine minutes to play.
Following a break by Carly Ryan, the Roos spread it to the left, creating an overlap which saw Tout dive over and score her second four-pointer of the match.
The sideline conversion attempt from Burke was waved away and it was 10-nil.
Despite the best efforts of the reigning premiers in the dying moments, the couldn't break through, sealing the Superoos second Group Seven WLT premiership
In the win, player of the match Tout, Georgia Thomas, Ryan and Hannah Prouten all starred for the Roos, as Glasson, Talia Atfield, Tyler Finn and Talarah Bull did all they could for the Knights.
