After the success of its inaugural event, the Jamberoo Music Festival returns for a second year on July 20 and will this year include line dancing.
More than 100 musicians will play across four intimate venues (Club Jamberoo, the School of Arts, Youth Hall and Sound Space at the Uniting Church). Little Quirks, Grizzlee Train, Salt & Steel, The Dave Orr Band and Pete Cornelius will headline the event.
Kiama musician Tom Hilliar and his band The Ninth Chapter will also perform. Layering elements of funk, blues and folk, the Australian six-piece revel in exciting songwriting.
International award winning Line Dancer, Simon Ward, will also lead a two-hour line dancing workshop. Patrons can also take part in resin jewelry making and art workshops.
The main street of Jamberoo, Alowrie Street, will be filled with activity from when the festival kicks off at 11am.
Expect a poets breakfast, Aboriginal Smoking Ceremony, market place, busking competition, open mic, sculpture trail, silent disco and activities for children.
