There was only one real option for Kiama teenager Olivia Piazza.
A couple of years down the track the 16-year-old's online business Olivia Jean, is going extremely well selling handbags.
"I didn't want to work in McDonald's or the fast food industry which seems to be the only job option for most 16-year-old girls so I put my mind to creating a range of handbags for women that are unique and stylish,' Olivia said.
Unique and stylish is exactly how the avid and passionate traveller describes her latest design.
Olivia said the New Yorker Tote was the perfect lightweight, versatile, modern travel tote, adding it could be folded down easily into a lightweight purse or unfolded into a very stylish tote bag.
"I love travelling and that's why I've designed my latest tote bag after New York as I couldn't find the perfect lightweight travel handbag, which was stylish but practical," she said.
"With Olivia Jean I want to empower other young people and show them that as long as you are passionate and have a hard work ethic you can be studying whilst earning an income online and without having to be physically at a part time job."
