The 10-day bike journey from Sydney to Melbourne will cover 1400km, with the route taking in some of Australia's most scenic country side via the Illawarra, Canberra, the snowy mountains and the Baw Baw National Park in Victorias High Country.
The goal of the ride is to raise $160,000 for The Red Shield Appeal.
These funds to support the Salvation Army's social and community services. This includes providing shelter for the homeless, assisting families in crisis, and supporting people with addictions.
The first leg of the journey on Monday, April 29 is 130km from Sydney to Kiama. This section includes the Royal National Park and iconic Seacliff Bridge.
The second leg, on Tuesday, April 30 is 155km from Kiama to Goulburn. This section includes climbing Jamberoo Mountain.
After arriving in Kiama, the cyclists will attend a dinner at Kiama Leagues Club at 6.30pm, where they will hear about local services the Salvation Army run. They will stay in Kiama overnight before departing the next morning.
