Help them take a step closer to world domination (or a career is STEM) at RoboClub: a new after-school coding and robotics club open to primary school students in years 2-6.
RoboClub teaches kids coding and programming skills while working with a wide range of robots, including: EV3 Mindstorms, WeDo LEGO Robotics, Sphero, Dash & Dot, Ozobot, LEGO Boost, Mangobot, Raspberry Pi, Finch, Ino-Bot and Drones.
It kicks off in term two with half-term participation, and is a joint effort from Kiama Library and RoboLink.
Students work at their own pace and pursue knowledge and skills sequentially as they are ready to progress.
Each child maintains an online student portfolio, so they can share their achievements at home.
All equipment is provided by RoboLink for use during club sessions, including laptops & iPads.
Session One is on Fridays, 4-5 pm, from May 3 to May 31.
Session Two is on Fridays, 4-5 pm, from June 7 to July 5.
All sessions are held at Kiama Library. For more information, contact the library on (02) 4233 1133
