The season commenced with the Shoalhaven high schools' under 15's and opens country cup competition.
Many local high schools took part and the standard was high.
The winners were: under 15s Kiama High School 22 defeated Ulladulla High School 4 and in the opens, Kiama High School 18 defeated Shoalhaven High School 4
The winners will now progress to play at the South Coast Rugby League Finals on Wednesday, June 5.
The NRL's Southern NSW Regional Game Development team coordinated what was a well-run series of matches.
A few days later, the Shoalhaven Primary Rod Wishart and Paul McGregor Shield were played.
Berry Public School was the Paul McGregor Years 3 /4 section and Culburra Public School won the Rod Wishart Years 5 /6 competition.
