The Kiama Matinee Theatre group is set to entertain audiences with its next show, the "39 Steps" Radio play, at Kiama Pavilion next week.

This amusing version of the 39 Steps is a fast-paced thriller full of murder, espionage, political intrigue and romance.
Richard Hannay is visiting 1930's London when after a chance meeting with foreign agent Annabella, she is found murdered. Hannay then finds himself caught up in a dangerous game of betrayal and national security. With the help of Pamela, his love interest, Hannay must uncover the secret of "The 39 Steps" to save the day.
All funds raised from this event will go towards, "Wheels for Chris."

Wheels for Chris aims to buy Kiama's Chris English and his family a wheelchair-compliant van. Chris became a quadriplegic as a result of a horrific accident, when he fell down concrete steps. The specially-equipped van will enable him and his family to be more independent and return to their positive involvement with the community. Chris' family is also hosting a fundraiser at Kiama Downs surf lifesaving club on Saturday at 6pm, all are welcome, details on Facebook.
