Sitting on three acres, 'Frangipani House', located at 30 Quarter Sessions Road, Jamberoo has a price guide of $1,985,000.
Seeking a tree change, then Sydney-sider Louise Adam bought the property 18 years ago.
Several years later, she undertook an extensive renovation and rebuild of the existing house.
Architect Michal Tomaszewski, a team member of Jørn Utzon's on the Sydney Opera House, designed the new-look property.
The home includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
It offers undercover access to a separate pavilion for the study or fourth bedroom, master bedroom, walk-in robe and ensuite with free standing bath, underfloor heating and blackwood vanity.
"It's tranquil, surrounded by nature, close to amenities, and my Sydney friends say it's an 'oasis of calm' where they can de-stress," Ms Adam said.
The property has been a sought-after listing on platforms such as Airbnb.
Ms Adam said she was now planning to downsize to a unit in Kiama.
"I've got mixed emotions about letting it go, but I recognise that I'm at a stage in my life where I'm semi-retired and I need to be realistic about planning for the future," she said.
The selling agent is Vivienne Marris from Elders Real Estate Jamberoo.
"It's got a feel about it - a very calm and peaceful place," she said.
"You're surrounded by greenery, but have a stunning view of the Jamberoo escarpment."
