Toastmasters gathered in Kiama recently for the Area 30, International and Evaluation Contests.

On Tuesday, February 21, the Area 30 Toastmasters International and Evaluation contests was held in Kiama.
Representatives from Nowra, Shoalhaven City, Kiama and South Coast Gourmet Toastmasters club entered the International Speech and Evaluation contests.
Nowra Toastmasters was represented in the Evaluation contest by long term member, Rod Larkins and newest member, Megan Ash, who also competed in the International Speech.
Both did extremely well with Megan taking first place in the Evaluation contest.
Shoalhaven City Toastmasters, Ros Ball competed and placed second in the International Speech and 3rd in the evaluation contest.

Both Megan and John will go on to represent Area 30 in the Southern Division Contests which will also include Noelene Walsh from Kiama in the Table Topic© and Colin Fowler from South Coast Gourmet in the Humorous Speech contests, held on March 16 and 17.
