About 80 to 90 classic, veteran and vintage motorcycles will hum into Kiama, driven by owners from the Illawarra, the Shoalhaven, Sydney, Goulburn, Griffith, Wagga and Eurobodalla.
Motorbike marques expected to participate include the traditional English brands of Matchless, B.S.A Triumph, AJS, Italian Ducatis, German BMWs, Japanese Hondas, Kawasakis, Suzukis, and Yamahas and of course American-branded Indians and Harley Davidsons.
Bikes will be on display at Kiama from 8am to 10am, owners will then ride to Bomaderry Bowling club, where the bikes will sit from 12pm to 2.00pm
It will be the 24th Annual Red Scarf Rally hosted by the Illawarra Classic Motorcycle Club.
The rally is the highlight of the year for the club.
The club was formed by a group of old motorcycle enthusiasts in 1995. Members aim to collectively support the restoration, preservation and use of veteran, vintage, classic and enthusiast motorcycles from the earliest days of motorised transport to modern high-performance exotic machines.
