The first event to be held on the South Coast will be in January, when Wollongong hosts the Rip Curl Gromsearch – National Final from January 15-17.
The next time top junior waveriders will descent on the region will be in May, when Kiama hosts the NSW bodyboard title from May 3-5.
At the same time (May 4-5), the Werri Beach Boardriders will host their annual Werri Slash.
The following weekend, Kiama’s Jones Beach will stage the Ocean and Earth South Coast Junior Regional Titles.
On May 18, the Ocean and Earth Illawarra Junior Regionals Titles will be held at Sandon Point, while the Culburra Beach Boardriders will stage their exciting Surfbash that weekend too.
The busy month of May will culminate in the Shoalhaven hosting the World Surf League sanctioned Hydralyte Sports Shoalhaven Pro Junior WSL Junior Qualifying Series 1000.
Two months later, in July, Kiama will again host the APB Kiama Bodyboard King Pro from July 30 to August 8.
The final two events on the South Coast will also be held in Kiama, with the nudie Australian Boardriders Battle (NSW South) in September and the Surfer Grom Comp in October.
