Council has commissioned a Kiama Town Centre study, which includes an online map where you can make their thoughts known.
Users can zoom into areas of the town centre, drop a pin on a location and add their comments at https://studiogl.mysocialpinpoint.com/kiama-town-centre#/
There are three types of pins, which include;
- What I Like
- What could be improved
- Ideas and Suggestions
This will help provide an understanding of the ideas and needs of everyone in our community, including those with businesses in the CBD, people with mobility issues, public transport users and the various community groups that are active in the area.
People can pin their ideas until Tuesday, November 20
Council has also organised opportunities to discuss their ideas with the consultants directly:
- Local Business Workshop - Tuesday, November 6 at 6.30pm – Sebel Harbourside.
- Drop-In Session - Wednesday, November 7 from 3-5pm – Farmers Market, Coronation Park.
- Community Workshop – Wednesday, November 7 at 6.30pm – Sebel Harbourside.
The study will take approximately three months with a final report expected in early 2019.
