The warm weather attracted a larger crowd than last year, according to Cancer Council’s community relations coordinator Stephanie Lake.
Organisers were still tallying the final fundraising figure on Tuesday, however there is still time to make a donation. You can do so by visiting relayforlife.org.au/kiama
Funds raised from Relay For Life help local cancer patients and their carers through access to accommodation and information services during their treatment, as well as prevention programs that educate the community on how to reduce the risk of cancer.
