“In 2003 my wife Wendy and I stood in an empty paddock that is now Shellharbour Anglican College,” Mr Cummings said.
“The support and encouragement of the school community during this time has been a great joy.
“Words cannot adequately express my gratitude to the people who have shared and continue to share this community’s journey.”
Chairman of the School Council Mr Rob Aubin said Mr Cummings has been instrumental in the establishment and growth of the College into what it is today– a vibrant learning community with a strong foundation based on the love of Christ.
“Mr Cummings will leave a legacy of well-developed facilities, a strong culture of learning led by a team of dedicated and professional staff, all underpinned by servant leadership and a gospel focus,” he said.
