Spotted in the huge crowd were four glamorous ladies, Christine Parrish, Cornelia Hamilton, Maggie Garaty and Rosie Dawne.

The weather was great, the food was even better. Race books were avidly studied and bets were laid ....which all adding to the fun atmosphere on the day.
